Chris has been musical all his life. He sings, plays piano, and plays the Hell out of a harmonica. His background is not just a "Rock" one, but a theatrical one.In college he not only studied music but also acting and movie production.

After college Chris headed for Europe to indulge in a whole new music scene, absorbing every style available. Paying the bills doing the cover band thing didn't hurt in the "chops" dept either. In an age of "Rappers", this can guy can REALLY SING !

When Chris headed back to the "States" to promote his solo CD "Lifting New Blood" , he took a chance and auditioned for a band who we now know as DFD.

Chris has been playing guitar since before he could play guitar. Moving from "Metal Riffs" To wanting to write a really good song, to Recording a final product, Chris loves the whole musical process. Especially playing live.

Growing up around a musical family, he hung around the "McCabes" Guitar store in Long Beach (owned by his uncle, Jeff Simpson, who bought it from David Simpson, Chris's Dad). He quickly made friends and studied with the store's guitar teacher Sean Clegg (D.V.S., Messenger, Accomplice).

He spent the next four years in the band "Frenzy". That band changed his whole thinking of music. A progessive 3 piece band he formed with drummer Mike Maysonite (Possumdeth, Frenzy, and currently "BONG"), that put as much music and diversity in a song as possible. When "FRENZY" disbanded it was time to find the right musicians to continue this thing called Rock & Roll. He Did.

Rick is the man when it comes to drums in this town or any town, country or planet. He made a name for himself in "Walter Ego" and it's been nothing but non-stop gigs ever since.

After A couple of years opening for some big name acts, Rick took some time off and concentrated on teaching.He has a list of students as long as your #%&*.

Once he auditioned for DFD we knew it was a perfect match.

James is a barber from "Curn county Fortymonk", U.S.A. He plays bass, guitar, drums and sings. James actuly played guitar in the band "Twinkie Defense". He found his true calling when he joined "Possum Deth", which is holding down the fort with some severe Bass Lines and kickin' the chorus with some flowin' harmony.

After gaining about a million hours of stage experience. Possumdeth disbanded. James went in a completly different musical direction and and hooked up with "All the Madmen". Unfortunatly that adventure didn't last long. That's about the time James got the call from Chris. The rest is history. THE END !
